Undergrad in Plant Biology Wins Fellowship for Pennycress Work

Cole Folstad, who is working on the pennycress project with Dr. David Marks, Department of Plant Biology, just won a very prestigious American Society of Plant Biology Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) award. This is a national competition and only 15 are awarded per year. The award includes a summer stipend and funds to travel to the annual meeting in 2017, to be held in Hawaii.
